What is offset printing:

Offset lithography is a technique which is used for large scale printing. It is a type of printing in which the images on metal plates are offset to rubber rollers and then sent to the print media. The print media or paper doesn't come in direct contact with the metal plates.

Types of Offset Printing :

There are two types of Offset printing.

1- Sheet-fed: During this process individual pages of paper are fed into the machine. The pages can be either cut in advance or trimmed after printing. It is considered good for small and medium jobs.

2- Web offset: In this type of printing larger and high speed machines are used. Large rolls of paper are fed into it and the individual pages are separated and trimmed afterwards. It is less expensive when used for large publications.
